Breakaway West is a five building, fifty-four unit condominium complex that overlooks Vail. The buildings were built in the early 70’s and a complete exterior renovation is in progress. Two of the building exteriors will be complete before the 2008 ski season. Changes include new stone, stucco, siding, windows and doors. The existing balconies are being resurfaced and new railings installed. 

 

Breakaway West has a spacious deck area that encloses a beautiful pool and two hot tubs. An expansive lawn adjoins the deck/pool area and both overlook Vail Mountain. A sunlit exercise room has been added adjacent to the pool/deck area. Exercise equipment and flat screen television (with cable) will be available for your enjoyment. 

 

The units in the complex are individually owned. Rentals are available from local rental companies or individual owners.  Breakaway West has an onsite property manager.

 

Breakaway West is located on the Town of Vail Bus Route. Also, it is an easy walk into Vail via the I-70 pedestrian cross over.

 

Units include one bedroom studios, two bedroom units and three bedroom units with loft. Most units have gas log fireplaces and gas grills. The units have full kitchens and most units have two full baths. 

 

Shopping for all your vacation needs can be found along the frontage road near Breakaway West. Additionally, there is a playground with a volleyball court just east of Breakaway West.
